Plano, TX – Texas Right to Life Political Action Committee, the political arm of the state’s most influential Pro-Life organization in Texas, today announced its endorsement of Phillip Huffines in the hotly contested race for Texas Senate, District 8.
“We are so proud to endorse Phillip Huffines in the race for Senate District 8. Not only has Phillip been a lifelong conservative, Pro-Life activist, but Phillip also shares the mission and goals of Texas Right to Life. Phillip’s experience as a successful businessman and community leader will be an asset to representing the values of smaller government, lower taxes, and religious liberties for those who live in Senate District 8. He is well-equipped to be a state senator who will stand up to the liberal Austin Establishment,” said Elizabeth Graham. “We’re asking the voters of SD 8 to send Phillip Huffines to Austin to continue the proud legacy Sen. Van Taylor in protecting life and putting principle before politics.”
“I am honored to have the support of Texas Right to Life. Texas Right to Life has spearheaded the Pro-Life movement in Texas for over forty years, and I’m honored that an organization so important to our state would support my candidacy for the Texas Senate,” said Phillip. “Should the voters of Senate District 8 elect me in March, I vow to prioritize life-saving bills and measures so that I can build upon Texas’ recent accomplishments in expanding women’s health, defunding the abortion industry, and safeguarding the lives of pregnant mothers and their unborn children.”
Texas Right to Life is the oldest, largest, and only statewide Pro-Life organization in Texas. They are non-partisan and are the Texas affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.
